Attention, some products are massively addictive. Way out in front are the Spandauers, they really don’t deserve the name, a kind of sourdough muffin with a vanilla filling, and a sourdough brioche filled with a firm cream. Just delicious, because the dough makes the twist that it’s not so sweet and has more texture than a typical dough. In the first few days of opening, they were sold out by lunchtime, such was the run on the offer. The operators of Frea Restaurant, a few metres away, simply know what they are doing. In addition to direct sales, the café also serves soups and salads, which disappointed us somewhat, no comparison to the quality at Frea Restaurant. Just stick to the baked goods, they are why you magically find yourself standing in front of Frea Bakery on Schröderstrasse again.
