The restaurant Finca Es Serral is definitely worth an extra detour into the hidden valley near Artá, especially in winter, when you can sit here by a cosy flickering fireplace. On the farm there is a clear distribution of roles, Sebastián takes care of the sheep, takes care of the organic cultivation and occasionally helps with the serving. But in the kitchen his wife Margarita is the boss. Her classics include the Pollo Feliz, the stuffed leg of lamb and the cactus fig sorbet. Just what the farm is offering at the moment. The enterprising Margarita takes her job very seriously and spends her holidays in the kitchen of a star chef to supplement her knowledge.
