Eisl Eisl is a heavenly good sheep’s milk speciality, handcrafted and made from 100% organic ingredients, this delicacy is produced at Seegut Eisl, a traditional farm on Lake Wolfgang. Sepp Eisl – the creator behind Eisl Eisl – is cheese lovers and gastronomy a popular source of high-quality sheep’s milk products. For over 30 years his family has been producing yoghurt, cheese and co. His small, fine ice cream parlour is hidden in a passageway from Getreidegasse to Hanuschplatz. Besides the classic varieties you can look forward to specialities such as pumpkin seed, apricot pot, plum roaster, blueberry-rosemary ice cream. By the way, the Eisl ice cream was awarded the “Goldener Stanitzel” as the best ice cream speciality in Austria. That must mean something!
