The concept of converted barns in the Berlin area is not new, but it is by no means always successful. The Sternhagener Haus with stable and barn at Sternhagener See, on the other hand, shows how it can be done. The simple brick of the 200-year-old farmhouse shows a well-tended patina, which is contrasted with minimalist design in the interior. The 5000 sqm large property offers space for development and shady places under numerous fruit trees. Peace and quiet are only broken here by the farmers’ field work.
