Starred chef Bertrand Grébaut and Théo Pourriat’s seafood restaurant Clamato is the little sister of the highly acclaimed Septime. Clamato’s décor is understated yet warm – wood-panelled ceiling, brick bar with high stools, wooden tables – while the daily changing menu of shared plates is modern and refined. Arrive early enough, preferably around seven o’clock, to get a seat. And then be sure to order a rosemary gin and tonic with the Maldon oysters, followed by smoked eel and lentils or scallops with endive and orange. Also DON’T MISS: the octopus carpaccio with grapefruit flesh and anchovies.
