Manolo offers really good rustic fish, well prepared to the point. The perfect mix. The small restaurant has three names. It was called Bodega Barahona at the time of the grandparents who opened it in the 1940s, then everyone called it “Es Bodegón”, and now since the youngest generation it has taken over, “Casa Manolo”. The family has their own fishing boat and they still extract their salt by hand. The specialities are the “calamar de potera”, simply delicious, and the fish in salt crust, but also the hearty “arròs de notari”. The “boquerones en vinagre” are also delicious. The most important drink served in small white chilled porcelain bowls is the Ribeiro de Galicia on tap. In front of the door, in the small square next to the church, there are some tables at the street – perfect to look at, because there is always something going on at the corner. On the ground floor, photos of the family, friends and celebrities wallpaper the walls, hams hang from the ceiling. So everything is very rustic and friendly.
