Behind the paper factory Antica Cartiera Amatruda hides something unique. The “Carta a mano”, the original Amalfi paper, is one of the best Amalfi region has to offer. The number of papermakers in the Valle dei Mulini has decreased in recent years. However, the Antica Cartiera Amatruda has survived, whose origin goes back to the 15th century.
