The Kultbar on the banks of the Rhine has long ceased to be an insider’s tip and has become an institution of the alternative art scene. Whether for a nightcap after a strenuous day at the fair, a little get-together of architecture students or a drink after a vernissage, the Cargo Bar is regarded as the trendy meeting place for the hip art punk public. By the way, most of the time only English is spoken here – now, at the latest, one notices that Basel is the meeting place of the international art scene. And apart from the hip crowd, the cocktails are also delicious.
