If one were to say that in the Caffé Tripoli there are the best Bocconotti far and wide, that would be an understatement. Somewhat more realistic would be the best in the universe. Whether world or universe, back or forth, you definitely shouldn’t miss the Bocconotti – a cake filled with shortcrust pastry – here. And if you can’t decide between the cream with Amarena or ricotta and pear varieties, you won’t have any difficulty tasting either. On top you will still be spoiled with the flair of the beautiful city Martina Franca, which with its kitschy and opulent baroque facades sprays with charm and atmosphere. Sadly, there is no more granita di mandorla or caffe with thick cream, as the old owner has handed it over to the younger generation.
