Right on the shores of idyllic Lake Schliersee, just outside Munich, Café Milchhäusl is an oasis in itself. The beautifully situated café is bursting with nostalgia. Visitors can look forward to homemade strudel made according to grandma’s recipe, Viennese yeast dumplings, crusty steamed dumplings from the Reina and caramelised Kaiserschmarrn. There are also savoury snacks and at lunchtime: Kassspatz’n, Bauerngröstl and crispy salads.
