The Café Constance, one of the most beautiful cafés in Brandenburg, is located in the small village of Wustrau, through which Fontane walked during his walk through the Mark Brandenburg. The stately Art Nouveau villa, built in 1905, once belonged to Countess Constance, who made the rooms available to the village population for festivals and plays. After a long period of vacancy, Ingelore Radtke took over the villa and turned it back into a meeting place for the population with a great deal of taste and sensitivity. The former theatre hall now serves as a café and, in the spirit of Countess Constance, readings, exhibitions and concerts are once again offered here.
Not to be overlooked is the delicious homemade cake and the small enchanted garden adjoining the theatre hall.
