The Brody House was originally the private residence of a prominent doctor. Some years later it became more and more a meeting place for the local artist scene. The artsy Boho Hotel was named after the Hungarian writer Sandor Brody and the 11 rooms belonging to it were named after artists who once lived in the house. You have to admit that the Brody House is definitely not a luxurious flophouse, you feel more like a guest in a beautiful, unconventional home than in a hotel. But that is also the charm of the hotel. Definitely a place for art lovers. And it is also ideally located, opposite the Hungarian National Museum and only a short walk from the Grand Market Hall.
