It isn’t often that former apartment houses are converted into a bed and breakfast that succeeds in making the traveler feel at home. But that is exactly what Boulevard Leopold does; its three uniquely decorated rooms and two apartments spread over three floors offer lots of privacy. Martin and his wife Patricia acquired the former Jewish tenement in 2005 and over the next couple of years converted it to an inn that owes its unique ambience to a perfectly curated collection of antique furniture and matching accessories, many of which came from an old cloister as well as it tasty breakfasts of warm croissants and fresh fruit salad. Also of note: fashion magazines often shoot editorials in Boulevard Leopold.
