The Borgo San Marco is a charming masseria with history and contemporary elegance. Nestled between olive groves and centuries-old carob trees, this place – which was already built in the 15th century by the Maltese riders – bubbles over with history. Today the Masseria is in the hands of the Amati family, who have created a masterpiece from it. Whether in the lime garden, by the wildly overgrown pool, in the associated grotto with its beautiful frescoes or in one of the numerous inner courtyards – the love for detail can be felt everywhere. Of course, the good food in the Borgo San Marco also plays an important role. Peppino Palmisano cooks with ingredients from his own garden and the delicious Olio nuovo is personally produced by the landlord Alessandro Amati. Of all the masseries, what is special here is the authenticity.
