Surrounded by the large green area, which is furnished with carpets, cushions, wooden benches and tables, stands the improvised Bolgheri Green, known as the hippest Apperitivo in the whole area. The mega cool and for conservative Tuscany unique “Countryfoodstation” serves a selection of fresh vegetarian dishes with local wine. At only 10 Euros for an Apperitivo, which includes a glass of wine and a small meal, and just under 20 Euros for dinner, it is easy to live here. A wonderful place for communal, balmy summer nights. Yes, one is mistaken, Tuscany is also breaking new ground.
