It is Dublin’s oldest cafe and it is located in the middle of the city on the main shopping street, which detracts a bit of its special flair. But a great deal of the old interior, with its colourful windows, has been preserved. The guests are a mixture of families, chatting girlfriends and tourists, which doesn’t seem to exciting at first. But the Bewley’s is an institution, with its own coffee and tea labels. They also have a great range of chocolates and confectionary, to give away as presents.
