If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Kitzbühel and purify your soul with fresh mountain lust, you should definitely start a mountain tour to the Bichlalm. To do this, take the cable car at the valley station – the sporty ones only take the ride up and walk down the mountain – a tight 90-120 minute walk, depending on fitness level. The open cable car takes you up to 2000m to the Bichlalm. From there it is only a few steps to the summit. Once you reach the summit, you can stop at the Bichlalm, an inn with 4 guesthouses and a breathtaking view of the Kitzbühel Alps from the terrace. From here the ascent continues and you should do the same or let yourself be rocked further. The summit of the Bichlalm with the summit cross is an experience that has a lasting effect. From there it goes down the ridge to the other side and after a comfortable 40-minute walk you reach the Lämmerbichlalm. Here you can have a snack, drink fresh buttermilk and stock up with the delicious mountain cheese from our own production. The way back leads again over the Bichlalm and then downhill, either on foot or by cable car. Halfway (with cable car station) Oberaigen has a fresh apple spritzer and a selection of cheese – on the terrace you can sink into sheepskins and enjoy the view.
