The Baqqala is the best in the Scicli area. In the centre of Scicli you can still sit hidden and romantically on a small corner, on a terrace built on wooden stilts and spoil yourself with fish dishes and probably the best linguine with Scicli mussels. A great address for a nice lunch in between, which doesn’t have to be an absolute culinary gourmet revelation, but should nevertheless be something culinary and atmospheric and above all radiate a pinch of Sicilian lifestyle. And yes, the Baqqala does that with bravura!
