The Atelier Café is a place for the senses: bumblebees buzz in the garden, apricot tart smells beguiling from the kitchen, coffee is drunk from self-made cups and the owner Julia Tomasi Müntz’s works hang on the walls. Together with her partner, the ceramist Jan Eigendorf, she lives and works in the former village school of Wendisch-Rietz for parts of the year. And because both are not only artists but also great epicureans and passionate hosts, they open their garden for coffee on summer weekends.
